Who We Are

Sandra Kamara, Director

“Good support isn’t static. it grows with the person and responds to who they are, not just what they need.”
Sandra Kamara is the Director of Hopewell Community Care, bringing close to two decades of experience across disability support, aged care, and nursing. Her career began in frontline care, supporting people with complex needs in aged care and disability settings where dignity, trust, and consistency are essential. She later qualified as a Registered Nurse and has worked across government hospitals and aged care environments, strengthening her clinical expertise and evidence-based practice. Sandra founded Hopewell to create a boutique disability support service that is calm, relational, and responsive to complexity. Guided by the African philosophy of Ubuntu, she believes wellbeing is shaped through connection and shared humanity. She values families, loved ones, and social networks as essential partners in continuity, stability, and positive outcomes for people with disability.
